We would also like to give a very special shout out to our DJ (Tim).  We had one goal when we came to FIG and that was to make everyone wake up the next morning and say: “that was the most fun wedding I’ve ever been to!”  I can tell you honestly that every time we see someone who was there they say exactly that.  Tim did an amazing job getting the floor packed early with the older crowd and built the energy up throughout the night picking the songs we would’ve cued up next.  I don’t know that I’ve ever been to a wedding where that many people were dancing the entire time.

When Amanda and I looked back at the night we both agreed that the services paid for were worth every penny.”

“Our wedding DJ – Alvin – was awesome! Everyone loved him and his afro. My husband did the inital meeting with him to lay down our expectations and we went from there. We did not have a must play list (other than the 1st dance). Instead we had a do not play list which we kept to. After dinner, the dance floor was alive and kicking all the way until the lights went on. He played music for the generations and made sure everyone kept moving. One key thing that he did was to go find our photographer when we were doing our first dance and cake cutting to ensure those moments were captured. Fig and Alvin were fabulous to work with. “I loved my experience with Fig Media and especially Alvin!  I met with them twice before my wedding and both meetings were very professional and comfortable at the same time.  As all posters have said, we were looking for something different than the electric slide, we are family, and so on, Fig was recommended by our coordinator and did not disappoint.  They have an expansive library of music, upon turning in our music preferences, we were matched with Alvin, had a meeting with him, and were informed that the group meets weekly to discuss great matches to each dj’s events.  After booking I began noticing Fig Media at a few events around the city and was impressed, as well as excited for my wedding as I was confident I found the right match for us. Alvin was perfect!  The introductions were smooth, he cut the first dance in time enough to not allow us to look like idiots ;o) and played the greatest mix all night.  Our dance floor was full of our friends and family, all having the best time.  I have received so many compliments over the last several weeks and wanted to make sure that Fig/Alvin receives this positive feedback.” Merideth D.

“We just got married and thought Fig was awesome. Our dj, Alvin was so in tune with our style and with the crowd that the party just kept going from the second the music started!  We were initially intrigued because fig specifically does not play the chicken dance and electric slide which I think is part of the appeal. We really liked how we were essentially matched with a DJ based on our musical tastes. Our DJ was accommodating the entire process and was always in touch via email. He made suggestions and had us think about songs and moments that we previously hadn’t considered. I would definitely recommend these guys though it isn’t for everyone. If you’re an older couple that is used to the cheesy DJs with cumberbuns, then this is not going to be a good option. As for the negative review…I’d disregard that. It doesn’t really even make any sense. You’ve seen that the positive reviews are all after the event which is the most important thing!” David B.
